News from Primary School

Online learning seems to have set in well for most stakeholders this time around and will be continued until 5th February.

Thank you for working together with us in supporting the education of your child/ children. Whilst we all understand this is not ideal, it is great that some great minds ( like Google/ Seesaw) are at work continuously, ensuring schools can facilitate learning for students. I would wholeheartedly say "Thank you" to those teams working on platforms in technology and making teaching and learning easier for us.🙏

With the advent of COVID 19, life has been different for some, difficult for some, and hard on some. During challenging times, the presence of a friend, a helping hand, a listening ear seems to help. Our staff has been dependable, reliable, and forthcoming in taking on roles, stepping into others' shoes, and being willing to lend a helping hand when needed. I sincerely appreciate and applaud their efforts.👏 I would also like to recognize and thank parents and children who have been doing a great job in supporting us and for being so patient and understanding.

We have also been working on completing the IB ( International Baccalaureate) self-study questionnaire. in preparation for an evaluation. This takes place every 5 years for any IB world school and we are close to submitting the report next month. The IB team will next communicate to the school on the way forward with regards to their feedback.

That is the news for this week. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any assistance. Kindly use this link to find information on hotlines available at school.

A wise person said, "There is nothing in this world that can trouble you more than your own thoughts." So wishing you all "good thoughts"😊

Stay safe and stay well!
