Tuition and Fees

 

All invoices are issued in Kwacha and are payable in any convertible currency or Kwacha. A US Dollar exchange rate is set once each term. All payments must be paid to the bank or via cheque. No cash payments are accepted at the school.

 

1. REGISTRATION FEE

$100.00 or the Kwacha equivalent. This fee is NOT REFUNDABLE in any circumstances.

 

2. REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT

$200.00 or the Kwacha equivalent. This deposit is refundable at the time of withdrawal of the student. The Deposit is to offset any loss or breakage's of equipment or materials still outstanding at the time of withdrawal. All breakage's are charged at replacement cost. Any book losses are normally charged at the time, at the full Forex replacement cost plus a 50% handling and shipping charge. The deposit is applied on entry to Year 1 and above.

 

3. ENROLMENT FEE

•  The enrolment fee will be US $1,000. This Fee, once paid, is not refundable. It is payable on admittance of each child to ISL (except for Reception classes). The enrolment fee becomes payable when children attending the Reception class move up into Year 1. These fees are used for capital development at ISL.

 

(b) For families enrolling more than one child:

1 st child US$1,000

2 nd child and any additional child US$ 500

 

•  Any returning student will be accepted with no additional enrolment upon production of

evidence of having previously attended ISL and paid the fees.

 

4. TUITION FEE PER TERM

•  DISCOUNT POLICIES

Certain discounts are available in respect of the annual payment of fees and for families with three or more children at the school. Details are available from the Business Office.

 

ONCE A PLACE IS SECURED, NO TUITION REFUND WILL BE PERMITTED UNLESS A WRITTEN REQUEST IS RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF TERM.
