Head of School's Message
Welcome to ISL, which is one of the oldest school's on the continent of Africa and 
the first international school to be founded in Zambia. We are proud of our many traditions, traditions that have been borne out of our history. We at ISL believe in preparing the child through the proper education for needs of a future generation. We take pride in our diversity both of our students and staff and programmes we offer.
ISL provides an international curriculum for its students. We are authorised by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme both for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the IB Diploma. While these programmes are both inquiry based and child centred they offer the students a chance to reach a high level of achievement. In the Lower Secondary we try to blend the best of all school practices to prepare the students so that they can achieve academic success in the IGCSE programme and future academic pursuits. The final two years of the secondary school, is the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a world renowned programme of academic rigor. Students' that successfully complete the full IB Diploma are well under way for admission to an university around the world.
